Artificial Intelligence and Society

This collection presents publications devoted to artificial intelligence as a technology that is increasingly shaping law, institutions, the economy and social life. The works gathered here examine issues such as responsibility for algorithm-assisted decisions, privacy and human rights, the use of AI in public administration, medicine, finance, agriculture and management, as well as its impact on public debate, education and culture. The collection approaches artificial intelligence both as a source of new opportunities and as a field of challenges requiring new regulations, ethical standards and social reflection.
