Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 goals adopted by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda. They address key social, economic and environmental challenges, including quality education and health, equality, sustainable cities, climate action and environmental protection.

Research and projects carried out at the University of Warsaw address many of the challenges reflected in the 2030 Agenda. The initiatives presented below illustrate how the University’s research activities contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
